Metal Corp collaborated with China’s Clutch Assembly leader, Chongqing Leade Industry, in 2014. Together, we established Metal LIDE Auto Clutch Industries in Faridabad, Haryana, as a Joint Venture focused on motorcycle clutch assemblies and clutch parts. With LIDE’s advanced technology and TPS management, combined with Metal Corp’s expertise in friction materials, we aim to become India’s leading motorcycle clutch manufacturer.
Metal Corp has always strived to stay ahead in technology. Following this path, Metal Corp signed a technical collaboration with MIBA Friction Tech. Both organizations are pooling their R&D efforts to pioneer and refine Paper Friction Clutch technology—studying paper-based materials and optimizing them for enhanced performance and durability.
This innovative technology marks a shift from traditional friction materials, exploring environmentally friendly and performance-boosting alternatives. The collaboration aims to deliver benefits such as reduced wear, improved efficiency, and enhanced sustainability.
The clutch variator plays a crucial role in optimizing engine performance by keeping it within the most efficient RPM range at different speeds, thereby improving fuel efficiency and the overall driving experience in vehicles equipped with CVTs.
